He bought a school bus
Michael was really lucky finding a school bus, because the Austin School District was selling ten buses. Only a few people knew about this so there weren’t so many bidders. He bought a bus for $2,200.
The plans
The plan was to convert the school bus into a livable house with a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room also.
The first problem
Of course as the project was developing, there came a big problem which had to be solved. The height of the bus was six feet one inch, but Michael was much taller than this. He is six feet six inches, so it would have been impossible for him to stand up in the bus. He had to raise the roof.
